The famous line of dolls and accessories, Polly Pocket, is celebrating its 35th anniversary. Produced by Mattel, Polly Pocket became an icon in the 90s for its tiny size or, as the name suggests, “pocket-sized.” To celebrate this milestone, Airbnb and Mattel have joined forces to offer Polly Pocket’s iconic house in real size, delighting all its fans. The house, designed like the famous “compact,” features two floors and is filled with nostalgic surprises that will transport guests back to the 90s.
Located in the picturesque town of Littleton, Massachusetts, the compact house stands 42 feet tall and will be available for just three nights to three different groups of four guests, offering a unique sleepover experience. Reservations open on August 21 for stays from September 12 to 14. The cost per night is just $89 USD.
For those who can’t secure a reservation, Airbnb will also offer 21 experiences for up to 12 guests each, allowing fans to experience Polly Pocket’s compact house in full size. Reservations for these experiences will also open on August 21, with the experiences running from September 16 to October 6.
The Polly Pocket experience includes:
- Exploring every nook and cranny of the iconic house, where some hidden surprises await.
- Getting ready at Polly’s vanity, filled with hair and nail accessories in her favorite colors.
- Taking a look at the retro fridge and preparing a picnic with snacks that every 90s kid wanted.
- Living the doll life in Polly’s closet, featuring her most iconic vintage looks.
- Relaxing in the living room with popcorn, a movie, and lots of cushions.
- Sleeping on Polly’s pull-out sofa or in her full-sized Action Park tent, just 10 feet from the house, after enjoying a fun sleepover.
- Creating personalized charm bracelets, approved by Polly, to match with your best friend.
